A novel way of propsing?

Author Christopher Currie's debut novel, The Ottoman Motel, includes a very personal cliffhanger in the acknowledgements in which he proposes to his girlfriend, Leesa Wockner. "I suppose, the really brave (or stupid) thing was knowing that my proposal would be in print forever, and I would look like a real idiot if it didn’t come off." Currie told Crikey's Literary Minded blog. From the ring to writing your own vows, civil marriage celebrant Laura Craddock can help you personalise everything about your wedding.

Congratulations Nicky & Troy!

Laura married us one week ago and I could not recommend her highly enough. When we were looking for a celebrant we didn't really know what we were looking for until we received an email in response to our enquiry from Laura. She was warm, professional and natural and this stood out compared to the other responses, we then knew we had found the celebrant for us. Laura made the whole process seamless and enjoyable, she provided guidance and the appropriate amount assistance to create a ceremony that was unique to us and enjoyed by all of our guests. - Nicky & Troy Laura Craddock is a Sydney civil marriage celebrant , who specialises in creating custom-made weddings and other ceremonies especially for each couple.
