Clare and Arron Wedding: Dunbar House
Not even rain could dampen Clare and Arron's spirits when they got married at Dunbar House, Watson's Bay. The happy couple celebrated many years of love and friendship, whilst also making a commitment to share their future together. They were thrilled with the personalised ceremony created by their celebrant, Laura Craddock.

"[Laura] I can't even properly articulate just how absolutely ecstatic Arron and I were with how the ceremony ran, and the integral part that you played on our special day. Thank you for helping us create a ceremony that was intimate, special and absolutely suited our personalities and tastes. We are beyond lucky to have stumbled across you on a vague google search and honestly feel like we were 'meant' to find you because you were exactly what we had been looking for in a celebrant. Not only did you help me through the ceremony through my nerves (and fetching me water!) but also beforehand when Arron and I were quite nervous and anxious - you came into the room and we instantly felt relief - you had it all under control. The rain didn't spoil the day at all because you were so organised when it turned out we had to move it inside. My good friends who were involved... spoke so highly of you and how in control you were of everything.
So many of our guests asked us if you were a friend of ours! This is a testament to the natural, comfortable style of speaking that you have and the personal nature of the ceremony which is what we wanted - everybody commented on how much warmth you had. We couldn't have agreed with them more! We only wish we had taken time out of the day to thank you in person.
We hope to see you again if in the future if/when we end up needing a baby naming or similar, and again, from the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU for making our Wedding absolutely wonderful, memorable and perfect for us. You're amazing at what you do"

We want someone who will make the ceremony light hearted and fun for all to set the scene for a great wedding. Not after anyone really expensive though! Personal recommendations please, not just obvious yellow pages links. Thanks!

I have never been to a "normal wedding." I grew up in the LDS church and all the weddings I ve seen happen were "temple weddings." The couple goes off to the temple with whichever family members or friends are "worthy" to go with them and get married while everyone else who s either too young or "unworthy" waits outside. Then they have a reception usually at the church gym (tacky, I agree) where they stand in line and greet everyone while the guests eat food. Most couples cut the cake and throw the bouquet. A few do a couple s dance.
